Jeremy from Central London has asked us “How much is the London Congestion Charge going up by?” – We answer this and a few other questions surrounding the recent changes to the congestion charge.
From the 22nd June 2020, the London Congestion Charge is rising from £11.50 to £15.00, on top of this the hours are also extending and the charge will be applicable 7 days per week.
The congestion charge in Central London will now be payable between the hours of 07:00 and 22:00hrs. It will also be payable 7 days per week, this is with immediate effect.
The government will re-introduce a scheme for NHS workers so that they can get the congestion charge reimbursed. More details on this can be found using the links below.
The low emission zone and the ultra low emission zones have also been re-introduced from the 22nd May 2020.
